Belt Testing Week

This week during classes, we will be rewarding students with their stripes. Once a student has received all of their stripes, they will be eligible to test for their next belt.

**Reminder: If you are a yellow belt or above and were tested last month, you are not eligible to test again this month. All students, yellow belts and above, must wait every other month.

UMA TAEKWON-DO TOURNAMENT

Ready to compete? The registration form for the upcoming tournament can be found below. Please remember not to mail the form directly to the tournament organizers. Instead, return it to Master Joseph along with your payment. No need to stress about deadlines or late fees—just make sure I receive your form by the Friday before the tournament, and you're all set!

We’ll also be holding a pre-tournament meeting on Friday at 6:30 PM for anyone interested in attending. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get more details about the event. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out!

Stay tuned—an FAQ email covering all things tournament-related will be sent out soon!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Success in Taekwondo is not about never falling, but about rising every time you do. Keep pressing on, because every step forward, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal." - Rock Solid Martial Arts

In Taekwondo, challenges and setbacks are part of the journey. Whether it's mastering a new technique or facing obstacles in life, success is not about never falling — it's about getting back up and pushing forward.

This quote encourages students to stay resilient. Every time they rise after a challenge, they grow stronger and move closer to their goals. Parents, remember that Taekwondo teaches more than physical skills. It instills perseverance, which will serve your children in all areas of life. Keep encouraging them to press on, no matter what they face.

BIBLE VESE OF THE WEEK

"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." - Romans 5:3-4

JOKE OF THE WEEK

Why don't skeletons fight each other?

They don't have the guts.
